2003 Sire Legion Of Merit

Foal in 1981 at Farnley Farm.  In 1982 J. D. Orear brought him to Orear Welsh Pony Farm in Kansas.  Thus began a long term love affair between man and beast.  Kernel was best known for his wonderful disposition which he passed along to his get.  WPCSA records show Kernel sired 121 registered purebred offsprings.

Kernel excelled in halter, driving single, sed in the heavy harness hitch pairs, local parades and used in the hitch giving wagon rides to children at the 4-H petting zoo for several years.

 Contributing to Kernel’s Legion of Merit were Dandardel  Vee Georgette, Dandardel  Fergie, Dandardel  Rivana, Dandardel  Dream Lady and Rowfantina Oliver Twist.
